CleanTech Alliance represents 300 member organizations spanning six U.S. states and two Canadian provinces. These members come from all facets of the clean technology industry sector, allowing the CleanTech Alliance to drive impact in the generation and growth of cleantech companies, jobs, products and services to advance the cleantech economy.

No other organization delivers such a wide blend of educational, networking and brand exposure opportunities targeted to the cleantech industry.

With more than 20,000 active subscribers and followers across the Northwest region, CleanTech Alliance serves as the information hub for cleantech news and resources. Our website, newsletter and social media reach inform cleantech industry executives, investors, policymakers, media and the general public.

  clean tech companies CleanTech Achievement Award
Each year, CleanTech Alliance honors a business or organization for making significant contributions to the cleantech industry. The CleanTech Achievement Award is presented each year at the CleanTech Alliance Annual Meeting in front of an audience of more than 300 cleantech industry executives, investors and policymakers from across the region. Three finalists will be honored at the event, receiving a short promotional video outlining the merits of their nomination. An independent panel of judges consisting of CleanTech Alliance members will screen each application to select the three finalists and overall winner.

There is power in a unified voice. We leverage that power to inform policymakers on cleantech trends through advocacy and education. Our members are kept up-to-date on the latest federal, state and local public policy issues to remain effective, competitive and profitable.

Commercialization and Business Development 

Commercialization assistance is critical to the CleanTech Alliance mission. We help early-stage and high-growth companies hone their business plans, products and market delivery to cross the valley of death from concept to commercial success.


CleanTech Alliance and Oregon BEST partnered to create the Cascadia CleanTech Accelerator, designed specifically for cleantech startups in the Pacific Northwest. The program delivers mentorship, business connections, exposure and general support.

Business Services 

Members benefit from a variety of business services and discounts, including the CleanTech Alliance Health Trust offered by Advanced Professionals Insurance and Benefit Solutions and Premera. The Health Trust now boasts more than 100 participating companies and insures approximately 2,000 members, saving them as much as 15 percent on their healthcare costs.
