After a successful launch in Salmon, the Idaho SBIR Road Tour continues this week with stops in Idaho Falls on August 14th and Pocatello on August 15th.  Attend a Road Tour event near you and learn how to access Federal and State Technology R&D Grants and other non-dilutive funding opportunities for Idaho Small Businesses.

The Idaho Small Business Development Center, in conjunction with Idaho National Laboratory and the Idaho Department of Commerce, is bringing the story of non-dilutive funding opportunities to six communities across Idaho.  Building upon the success of the National SBIR Road Tour stop at Boise State University in May, the Idaho SBIR Road Tour will feature subject experts, special speakers, 1-on-1 coaching and local guests.

If you’re an innovator, tech entrepreneur, researcher or small technology firm, don’t miss this opportunity to learn how to access $2.5B in early stage technology funding through the SBIR and STTR programs and nearly $1M in commercialization grants to Idaho companies through the Idaho Global Entrepreneurial Mission (IGEM).

You’ll hear about partnering with the Idaho National Laboratory and the Department of Energy, and meet 1-on-1 with experts in small business funding, R&D and local resources.

More than 25 small business owners and entrepreneurs from the Salmon/Challis area attended the kick-off event of the Idaho SBIR Road Tour at the Salmon Public Library. Experts presented on SBIR and IGEM grants, and the Idaho National Laboratory.  Local business experts spoke about the resources available from the Department of Labor, the Small Business Development Center and the Salmon Library.
