McKinstry wins the First Pivotal Leaders Outstanding Leadership Award

Source:  Email from Greg Semmler, Pivotal Leaders.  At the Pivotal Leaders Cleantech Breakfast Club event in Portland, the first Pivotal Leaders Outstanding Company Leadership Award was presented to Seattle, Washington-based McKinstry.  The award recognizes the firm’s outstanding contribution to building a sustainable economy in the Northwest through innovation and business leadership.

McKinstry was selected for the award in acknowledgement of their strong culture of innovation that fosters the growth of their employees and encourages leadership in the cleantech sector.  This year three McKinstry employees: David Allen, principle and executive vice-president; Ash Awad, vice-president of energy and facility solutions, and Nancy Hamilton, director of business development in Oregon’ were voted into Pivotal Leaders.   All three attended the Cleantech Breakfast Club and accepted the award on behalf of the company.  Ash Awad, who was the invited speaker at the event, gave an inspiring talk on “Innovation And The Green Building Industry.”
