Call for Nominations: Clean Energy Education and Empowerment Program Award

An important program is being launched at the Department of Energy in partnership with MIT: The Clean Energy Education and Empowerment Program, or C3E.  This program aims to advance women’s leadership in the clean energy sector.

This year MIT is running a C3E Awards program to recognize outstanding efforts to advance women’s mid-career leadership in six categories across the clean energy spectrum, each with a $10,000 cash prize. To find out more information about the awards program and eligibility, please visit this MIT website.

You are encouraged to nominate someone you know before the July 2nd deadline next week, and help spread the word by sharing this opportunity with your personal and professional networks.

The United States’ C3E program was officially announced this April at the 3rd Clean Energy Ministerial in London.

If you have any questions about C3E, please contact Caroline McGregor or Ann Shikany at c3e@hq.doe.gov.
