Dan Schwartz, director of the Clean Energy Institute, professor of chemical engineering, and adjunct professor of materials science and engineering, has been elected to the Washington State Academy of Sciences along with eleven other UW faculty. The new members will be formally inducted in September during an annual meeting at the Museum of Flight in Seattle.
