Pullman, Wash. – Protium Innovations LLC, a local hydrogen solutions for electric transportation company, has landed one of seven coveted spots in the prestigious, international launch program, The H2 Refuel Accelerator.

The H2 Refuel Accelerator has the support of international corporate giants Shell and Toyota, and the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). That program sought applications in March from startup companies interested in collaborations to bring their hydrogen innovations from concept to market. Protium’s was among 63 applications received from around the globe.

The H2 Refuel Accelerator represents a partnership between Fraunhofer TechBridge, Greentown Labs, and the Urban Future Lab. The program focuses on technologies and solutions that enhance the adoption of hydrogen infrastructure and supply chain technologies through cost reduction, reliability, and new capabilities.
