PNNL: Algae Produced Biofuels Could Supply 8% of US Needs
An analysis authored by Erik Venteris of Battelle/Pacific Northwest National Laboratory shows that U.S. resources might support the growth of enough algae to produce up to 25 billion gallons of algae-based fuel a year, one-twelfth of annual needs.
