The Department of Energy’s Pacific Northwest National Laboratory was awarded two spots on R&D Magazine’s past year’s 100 most significant scientific and technological products or advances. Since its birth in 1963, PNNL has achieved 89 R&D 100 awards to date.
The two winning innovations were for:
- Fast-charging batteries for vehicles, electronics
- Improving air quality in confined spaces
