EPA Promotion of U.S. Companies

This week’s Federal Register gives notice of a program by the Environmental Protection Agency to promote abroad American companies in certain subsectors:

  1. Groundwater remediation
  2. Control of power plant emissions of mercury
  3. Emissions control from marine diesel engines
  4. Nutrient removal from municipal wastewater

The program will be called the US Environmental Solutions Toolkit.  Interested companies should self-identify by August 17, 2012, 5:00 PM EDT.

Program resources:  US EPA has taken a new approach to promoting US environmental exports.  It will feature U.S. companies in technical assistance programs across multiple Federal agencies, including USAID and State, and will highlight these companies to inbound foreign trade missions.  Participating  US companies can use also use their inclusion in the program as a marketing tool.
