Seattle has changed its program that requires commercial property owners to measure and report building energy efficiency.

Initially, nonresidential buildings of 10,000 square feet or more and multifamily residential buildings with five or more units were required to participate in the Energy Benchmarking & Reporting Program.  New rules require that only bigger building–20,000 square feet and larger–to report annually.
