Saul Gates Joins INRIX

INRIX, a leading international provider of traffic information and driver services, announced Saul Gates is joining the company as Chief Financial Officer. The company also announced it has hired two industry leaders from the mobile and information technology industries to direct the company’s expansion into China, and expand the company’s mobile applications business which includes the INRIX Traffic App worldwide.

“Saul brings a tremendous amount of finance experience from his previous roles at multinational companies like Coinstar and Microsoft. This will be invaluable in providing a solid foundation for INRIX’s next growth stage,” said Bryan Mistele, president and CEO of INRIX. “I look forward to working with all of the new members of our leadership team to continue driving INRIX’s growth and success. The new members of INRIX’s team are as follows:

Chief Financial Officer Saul Gates joins the senior executive team to provide financial leadership. Mr. Gates brings over 22 years of financial experience to INRIX. Before joining INRIX he was Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer at Coinstar, Inc. the publicly held parent company of well-known Redbox movie and video game rental kiosks with international operations and more than $1.8 billion in revenues last year. At Coinstar, he was responsible for accounting, financial planning and analysis, compliance, and investor relations. Prior to this role, Mr. Gates spent several years at Microsoft where, as Director of Financial Planning, he was responsible for the company’s financial planning and analysis. Before joining Microsoft Mr. Gates spent several years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP working primarily with multi-national clients in the U.S. and South Korea.

Vice President of Mobile Applications Mike Arcuri is responsible for the INRIX Traffic App and the development of direct-to-consumer offerings. Mr. Arcuri joins INRIX with broad software leadership experience in engineering management, intellectual property, and marketing and business model development. He has spent the past six years focused on mobile products and start-up businesses, most recently as Vice President of Marketing and Executive Producer at Zipline Games, where he helped grow the adoption of the Zipline’s Moai gaming platform to over 12,000 registered developers within 12 months. Previously, Mr. Arcuri held leadership positions at World Blender, Photobucket Corporation, Ontela, Inc. and Microsoft, where he led a variety mobile product development, developer evangelism and community engagement programs.

Director of China Business Development He Bing (Bill) is driving efforts to develop and manage INRIX’s automotive, mobile, public sector, internet and media, and commercial fleet business development efforts in China. Based in INRIX’s Beijing office, Mr. He joins INRIX with 20 years of information technology, telecommunications, mobile and information service experience. Most recently, Mr. He was the Head of Sales and Marketing for Sasken Communication Greater China, an embedded technologies company, where he led the company’s exponential growth in China for the last two years. Previously, Mr. He was Vice President of Sales at Aircom Technologies and helped the company transition its business from a regional to a national technology provider. He has also held previous positions with Alcatel, Motorola and NEC Electronics.
