Application Now Open to Present at 2015 CleanTech Showcase

Boeing and Wells Fargo sign on as principal sponsors of the region’s leading cleantech showcase and exhibition

CleanTech Alliance, the nation’s largest state-level clean technology industry association, opened the online application to present at the 2015 CleanTech Showcase scheduled for June 22 at Bell Harbor International Conference Center in Seattle. Registration to attend is also now open, along with exhibit and sponsorship opportunities.

The annual CleanTech Showcase is presented by the CleanTech Alliance with principal sponsorship from The Boeing Company and Wells Fargo Insurance Services USA. The one-day event is the premier opportunity to network, learn and invest in the latest cleantech innovations from companies and research institutions across the Pacific Northwest. Presenting companies may now apply for the opportunity to have 20-minutes at the podium to present to more than 300 potential customers, partners and investors. An interactive exhibit space and poster session will highlight even more technologies, services and ideas covering clean technology, energy and environmental sustainability.

“The CleanTech Showcase is fantastic! The 2014 event introduced me to several emerging companies and investment opportunities I couldn’t ignore,” said Tom Forbes, a cleantech investor. “It’s a great opportunity for angel investors and venture capital companies, and I recommend all cleantech companies to either attend or present if they are seeking additional markets or capital.”

Due by April 13, 2015, applications will be scored based on market potential, the solution potential, the qualifications and experience of the management team, and general application quality. Apply online at:

“Washington State is the economic center of the cleantech sector across the Pacific Northwest and beyond,” said Bill McSherry, Vice President of State & Local and Global Corporate Citizenship at The Boeing Company. “The CleanTech Showcase creates a community to harness that economic center for further growth and demonstrates our region’s hunger for emerging companies and the value we place on innovative ideas.”

“The Showcase encompasses the broader cleantech industry across energy, environmental, sustainability and more,” said Keith VanderZanden, Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo Insurance Services USA. “Anyone interested in learning about major and emerging cleantech players shouldn’t miss the opportunity to attend.”

The full CleanTech Showcase agenda that outlines expert speakers, breakout sessions and participating companies will be announced in the coming weeks. Visit the CleanTech Alliance website to register to attend or apply to present.
