CleanTech Showcase 2015 Presenting Companies Announced

Selections Validate the Strength of Pacific Northwest Clean Technology Innovation

CleanTech Alliance is proud to introduce the 24 companies selected to present at the CleanTech Showcase 2015 – the Pacific Northwest’s leading one-day event to network, learn and invest. These presenting companies will each receive 20 minutes to spotlight their latest clean technology innovations to 300+ industry leaders, investors and policymakers. The 2015 presenting companies include:

“The caliber of these 24 presenting companies, along with the many featured poster session participants, demonstrates that cleantech innovation is alive and well in the Pacific Northwest,” said Stephen Gerritson, Chair of the CleanTech Alliance Board of Directors. “There is no question that the CleanTech Showcase will be bigger and better than ever in 2015 with a program that proves Pacific Northwest companies are global leaders in cleantech research, development and deployment.”

An independent selection committee reviewed each CleanTech Showcase presenting company application based on preset criteria that included technology innovation, market potential and the ability to solve real market problems. Company location and CleanTech Alliance membership were not factors in the screening process. CleanTech Alliance staff was not included on the selection committee.

“Word is definitely out about the CleanTech Showcase. Presenting company applications doubled this year, and we’re already on track to double poster session applications and exhibit space as well,” said J. Thomas Ranken, President and CEO of the CleanTech Alliance. “The independent selection committee faced some tough decisions in narrowing the field to 24. In the end, they picked a very strong class of presenters for the 2015 program.”

Dr. Cyrus Wadia, former White House policy advisor, will keynote the CleanTech Showcase with a discussion on clean technology research, development and market acceleration across the U.S. Interactive panels, presentations, poster sessions and exhibits are also on the agenda. No other event allows attendees to witness the Pacific Northwest’s latest and greatest cleantech innovations in a single day at a single venue.
