The annual Cleantech Open accelerator and contest is the oldest and biggest of its kind in the world. It offers a three month mentoring program, pitch practice, and presentations to active investors–and great networking. Applications are open now. I have participated twice in the Cleantech open, in 2009 and again last year. It is an incredible value for the help provided. It’s unique value is that it is national, with regional chapters and contests. Participants from one region can contact CTO leaders around the country for business referrals, investor leads, pub visits, etc. I am happy to answer any questions about it.
A local version of the Cleantech Open is also now accepting applications. The Cascadia Cleantech Accelerator supports PNW startups with a program similar to the Cleantech Open. It costs local participants less in travel because the main events are local, not in California.
