Cleantech startups are different. Especially those in the hardware category. They are higher risk, often more capital intensive requiring manufacturing and scaling support, prototype development, product validation and development. The Cascadia CleanTech Accelerator is specifically designed for BOTH early stage, hardware and software cleantech startups located in or interested in doing business in the Northwest.
We are a mostly* virtual 18-week program delivering mentorship, structured curriculum, and connections designed specifically for early stage hardware and software cleantech startups. Paricipants that successfully complete the program are eligible for additional resources and opportunities as they are available.
*currently planning 1 required in-person event in Seattle on June 14th
Up to four Canadian-based cleantech startups, if selected for the cohort, will have their participation fees waived thanks to a partnership with the Consulate General of Canada. Participation fees include event tickets for CleanTech Alliance’s CleanTech Innovation Showcase.
Cascadia CleanTech Accelerator is designed for early-stage startup companies in the clean technology market. To participate, companies must:
- Be an incorporated company (or in the process of incorporating).
- Have a cleantech product or service, or be interested in serving the cleantech market.
- Have raised no more than $1 million in funding.
