OCOchem is a clean-tech start-up commercializing electrocatalytic technology that converts captured carbon dioxide, water and renewable electricity into the green hydrogen carrier and platform molecule known as formic acid.  OCOchem’s vision is to replace extracted and cultivated hydrocarbons with platform molecules sourced from atmospheric CO2 and water, just like plants and trees.  OCOchem recently completed commissioned the world’s first industrial scale height CO2 electrolyzer cell, is engaged with 3 pilot, demonstration and industrial scale deployment projects, and was recently recognized last as the winner of the Energy Leadership Award for the Pacific Northwest.  OCOchem’s technology is applicable to a wide range of industries interested in either capturing and converting their carbon emissions, making, distributing and using green hydrogen in a safer and more affordable liquid carrier form, or both
