The Bullitt Foundation‘s Cascadia Center for Sustainable Design and Construction is one of 24 recipients of a US DoE grant to dramatically reduce energy in commercial buildings. Upon completion, the project will be the nation’s first office building to reach “living building” standards for its high energy efficiency. Previously, the US OED committed $11.5 million to support the project.
