PNNL Researchers Develop Improvements of Sodium Ion Rechargeable Batteries

PNNL researchers have developed a method that improves the electrical capacity and recharging lifetime of sodium ion rechargeable batteries, which could be a cheaper large-scale alternative (Press release).  PNNL also awarded ClearEdge Power, developer of fuel cells that convert natural gas into energy, $2.8M to install the system into buildings (Press release).
