The Washington Export Initiative is launching a new outreach effort targeted to small and medium sized business to encourage companies to develop new international markets and customer bases. Governor Gregoire launched the Washington Export Initiative in June 2011 and set ambitious goals to increase the number of companies exporting as well as to increase the total export sales out of Washington. This campaign is designed to build momentum to deliver on the 5-year goals. Four “Success Stories” videos will be featured on the Export Washington website. A range of export services and connections can also be found on the site. All media have been produced in partnership with Hal Calbom Communications, award-winning producers of “Evergreen: The Washington Clean Tech Story.”
