Seattle Ranks 10th, Tri-Cities 11th in Geekiness

Source:  William Pentland, Forbes, August 2, 2011.  Seattle ranks tenth in the National Science Foundation’s “Science and Engineering Indicators” report.  The report ranks the top 20 cities in the nation by the percentage of workers with jobs in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.  The No. 11 rank goes to the Tri-Cities–Kennewick, Pasco and Richland–home of the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
