Itron has been chosen by the Société Algérienne de Gestion du Réseau de Transport de l’Electricité (GRTE) to provide Algeria with an advanced data collection system for commercial and industrial (C&I) meters. Consistent with Algeria’s approach of utilizing best-in-class technology, the Itron system will contribute to managing the country’s advanced electricity transmission network more effectively. The implementation of the system will be completed by the end of this year.
