The Master of Environmental Studies Program (MES) at The Evergreen State College invites environmental professionals, people interested in environmental issues, AmeriCorps members, and career-changers to apply for Fall 2012.
Evergreen’s unique, interdisciplinary program in Olympia, Washington will enter its 29th year in Fall 2012. MES students use natural and social sciences to study and solve environmental problems through coursework, internships, and independent study. Graduates go on to work in government, policy, natural resources, nonprofits, environmental education, and sustainable business. The two-year program is made for the working professional and experiential learner—classes are in the evenings leaving time for jobs, internships, and volunteer experiences. In addition, a majority of MES students receive non-loan financial aid (scholarships, tuition waivers, fellowships).
The priority deadline for Fall 2012 applications is February 15. To apply, please go to www.evergreen.edu/mes/admission.
