MotoVolta has been developing a one-of-a-kind prototype electric motorcycle to demonstrate and test their technology. This prototype will feature a liquid-cooled, electric drive system and lithium polymer battery packs featuring patent-pending active battery management technology. In keeping with a capital efficient business strategy, the company decided decision to implement the technology into an existing motorcycle chassis, a 2004 Honda CBR1000RR. This chassis provides a highly engineered, world-class test-bed for integration of the powertrain system, while the aggressive styling sends the message that Motovolta is focused on developing technology for the high-end of the performance spectrum.
