Seeking Experienced Sales Professional for Fast-Growing Water Treatment Technology Company – Everett, WA
WaterTectonics, a leading edge water treatment technology company located in Everett, Washington, is looking for an energetic and confident sales professional to join our team. As part of a dynamic and growing company, you will have many opportunities to be involved at multiple levels of the business process including: business development, marketing, sales, and customer service. Our team is highly collaborative on a daily basis, and we are looking for someone that thrives in a fast-paced, organic, and rapidly changing environment.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and following up on leads and nurturing leads into opportunities and new accounts
- Identifying new opportunities within existing accounts
- Tracking and updating all pertinent sales information in Salesforce on a daily basis (past experience working in Salesforce is highly desirable)
- Ensuring all opportunities meet business objectives for commercial and technical viability
- Developing targeted collaterals (i.e. presentations, experience profiles, product summaries) for client and partner meetings
- Preparing complex proposals that integrate multi-product and multi-service offerings, performing cost analyses, and assembling terms & conditions
- Meeting with clients at their facilities on both a warm- and cold-call basis
- Attending industry and technical conferences on an intermittent basis (not to exceed 10% of total work time)
Successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher)
- Driver’s license and personal car for local travel
- 5+ years work experience
- Established success and track record in sales
- Past experience with water treatment
- Past experience selling products and services in a regulatory-driven environment
- Past experience at a small or mid-sized company
Critical skills include:
- High-level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
- Proficiency with Salesforce
- Strong analytical skills – both technical and financial
Success will be measured by:
- Ability to collaborate with team, listen for understanding, and take away critical information
- Ability to create new and develop existing leads, accounts, and opportunities
- Ability to convert leads into opportunities and “carry” opportunities through sales cycle
- Ability to “tread water” with potential clients and partners who range broadly in background and expertise; know when to defer questions to others and ask for support
- Ability to meet or exceed quarterly revenue goals
