USTDA awarded a grant to the Moroccan Agency for Solar Energy (MASEN), to support the development of a commercial scale, 100-150 MW range, concentrated solar power (CSP) plant using tower technology in southern Morocco at the Ouarzazate complex. MASEN has released a request for prequalification bids from companies and consortia that are interested to develop the CSP plant through an IPP. The deadline to submit prequalification bids is March 25.
