SBIR Road Tour Stops in Seattle on August 19; Don’t Miss Out

Representatives from NSF, DOE, DOD, NASA and many other agencies will visit Seattle on August 19 as the final leg of the SBIR Road Tour.

SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) is a highly competitive U.S. Government non-dilutive funding source ($2.5 billion annually) coordinated by the Small Business Administration (SBA). It runs across 11 participating federal agencies and is intended to encourage domestic small businesses to engage in high-growth research and development (R&D). Funding takes the form of contracts or grants and the awardee projects must have the potential for commercialization while meeting specific U.S. Government R&D requirements.

The SBIR Road Tour events represent a coveted opportunity to engage with SBIR program decision makers. The following link includes all pertinent details.
