WSU’s Wolcott Highlighted at UN International Day of Forests

Washington State University’s Dr. Michael Wolcott (and member of the CleanTech Alliance Board of Directors) was highlighted by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs on March 21 as part of the International Day of Forests. The International Day of Forests was created by the United Nations to raise awareness of the importance trees and forests.

Dr. Wolcott is the Regents Professor and Associate Vice President for Research within the Office of Clean Tech at Washington State University. The UN featured Wolcott in a live Facebook interview, which is available online. He outlined the interconnection between society, forests and energy with a focus on the opportunity for deep decarbonization.
