As a Nuclear Engineer who spent much of my early career studying power, R2B Microgrid Solutions seems like a no brainer to me.  The company shared its technology at the 2017 CleanTech Innovation Showcase.

Traditional grids fail.  There are large, old and require power to be carried over large distance.  American power grids are given a D+ rating by American Civil Engineers.  They are affected by weather and have become more and more structurally deficient as they age.

R2B Microgrid Solutions allows communities and neighborhoods to build out microgrids that would provide at least 85% of power from renewable energy sources. Its unique concept partners them with communities and renewable energy providers to create energy efficient locations.

More recently, R2B Microgrid Solutions developed a micro-grid solution for a 1.1 square mile redevelopment project led by a city in central Oregon. The current electrical grid is unable to support city development.  With phase-one of a new micro-grid, the city can allow developers to build a hotel and conference center.  Other phases of the micro- grid will also support retail, office, restaurants, and other service businesses.

Seems like a no brainer to me.  Where do I sign up?
