Better STEM education and healthier water quality are the goals of a Boeing-sponsored stormwater curriculum designed to reach fourth-graders in Seattle Public Schools. Boeing is partnering with IslandWood to help teachers nurture a new generation of clean-water enthusiasts with engineering lessons that examine the causes of, and remedies to, the region’s stormwater issue, which in turn connects to protecting healthy salmon habitat.
