— Senate Confirms DOE Nominees: The Senate confirmed with unanimous consent Lane Genatowski to be Director of the Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) — just in time for ARPA’s 10th Annual Energy Innovation Summit, happening next week in Colorado. Recently, the Senate also confirmed Dr. Rita Baranwal to be Assistant Secretary of Energy for Nuclear Energy with a roll call vote of 86 – 5 and William Bookless to be NNSA Principal Deputy Administrator with a voice vote.
