During these uncertain times, it may be difficult to know how to manage your professional and personal needs. Accessing quality information about COVID 19, the resources available to you as a Washington employer, and how to successfully navigate through all of this change can be a challenge.

NON-FMLA LEAVE OF ABSENCE
Provisions such as the Non-FMLA Leave of Absence provision, which provides access to health benefits for up to 90 days during an employer approved leave of absence, and the extension of premium payment grace periods from 30 to 60 days, are two examples of how the CleanTech Health Trust is helping employers meet these unprecedented challenges. Whether you are a health plan participant or not, we want to ensure all of our members receive quality information and have resources available to them.
Coverage for an employee and enrolled dependent(s) may be continued for up to 90 days when the employer grants the employee a leave of absence and full premium rates continue to be paid. The 90-day leave of absence period counts toward the maximum COBRA continuation period, except as prohibited under the FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993).
The CleanTech Alliance is here to help. Members of our health plan are receiving substantive updates including how to manage their business while employees are not able to work or work at full capacity.
