I would like to take a moment to thank all the contractors, electricians and installers who are keeping the lights on at the hospitals, grocery stores, warehouse and other essential businesses throughout this country. You are a vital part of the engine that keeps all of us safe and moving forward.
These are surreal and crazy times for all of us. Everyone has been affected in very different ways yet we are bound by a common crisis. However, it is during the hardest moments that our country’s spirit has been most alive and we’re seeing our country come together again to overcome this invisible threat. It is great to see people helping each other whether it is a kind gesture like giving toilet paper rolls to delivery drivers, or families singing the ABC song by the Jackson 5 sharing their smiles and laughter. Bottom line is that we all have a choice on what we can do in challenging times and I urge everyone to Be the Light in their World.
In my own life, I’m focusing my energy on doing everything I can to help our customers, our team members, and our communities survive this crisis. It’s important for all of us to think about what we can do, find our purpose, listen to the health professionals, and Rise to the Challenge.
For Retrolux, we’ve renewed our focus on our customers and our employees. We’ve quickly pivoted our attention to doing whatever it takes to get our customers back to work safely when they’re allowed back in buildings (stay tuned for a new app!), redoubling our online training efforts to help them be more productive and take advantage of remote work, and are releasing our next major feature (mapping!). The time is ripe to review your business, find new opportunities, and really listen to the needs of customers and employees to Strengthen Your People.
It’s easy to be fearful, it’s easy to be indecisive, it’s easy to live in the shadows, but that’s not the America I know. Let’s Rise to the Challenge, Strengthen our People, and Be the Light in the World.
