Bainbridge Graduate Institute: Founders Featured on The TODAY Show

Source:  Bainbridge Graduate Institute, Press Release, August 15, 2011.  – AARP’s “Your Life Calling with Jane Pauley” will feature Bainbridge Graduate Institute co-founders Libba and Gifford Pinchot on August 16th airing 8:30-9:00am (PT) on The TODAY Show.  Pauley is the host of this new series produced by AARP showcasing people ages 50+ who have reinvented themselves.  A “Behind the Scenes” sneak preview provides a snapshot of the interview and the stunning beauty of the Pacific Northwest and the IslandWood outdoor education center.

Simultaneously, Pauley will host an interview on ‘ASK JANE’AARP’s live internet radio program at 9:00am (PT) with Libba, Gifford, and Marc Freedman, CEO and Founder of Civic Ventures, a think tank on boomers, work, and social purpose.  “In 2010 Libba and Gifford were named Purpose Prize Fellows by Civic Ventures as social entrepreneurs over 60, who in their encore career, used their passion and experience and are making an extraordinary impact on society’s biggest challenges,” stated Freedman.  The Purpose Prize annually provides five $100,000 prizes to social innovators in the second half of life.
