NanoICE Raises $2.0 Million

Source:  Northwest Innovation, August 19, 2011.  Bothell-based NanoICE, a developer of food preservation technology, has raised nearly $2 million in a funding round, according to a regulatory filing by the firm this week.  According to the filing, the firm has raised $1,986,237 out of a $3 million equity funding round.  Details on the funding have not yet been announced by the company.  NanoICE has technology which removes the air pockets in ice, which allow bacteria and air to spoil food.  NanoICE is headed by Craig Rominger.
