RFP: Piloting Engine Upgrade Technologies in the Freight Mobility Sector

The Puget Sound Clean Air Agency has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Piloting Engine Upgrade Technologies in the Freight Mobility Sector.  The purpose of the RFP is to solicit proposals to conduct one or more pilot projects to upgrade the engines on Class 8 drayage trucks serving the Port of Seattle to meet or surpass U.S Environmental Protection Agency 2007 engine year heavy-duty engine emission standards for particulate matter (PM). Eligible technologies include but are not limited to: engine replacements, alternative fuel conversions, electrification, and after treatment systems.
