Public hearings on the following bills in the State House of Representatives took place this past week. Following are links to the bills plus television coverage of the hearings. 

HB 1096: Promoting a more efficient and reliable electric distribution system.

HB 1097: Concerning policies to promote clean energy job growth by encouraging installation of renewable energy systems.

Coming up this week:

Tuesday, January 27 at 10am: House Technology & Economic Development Committee-Public Hearing on HB 1352; Allowing incremental electricity produced as a result of efficiency improvements to hydroelectric generation projects whose energy output is marketed by the Bonneville power administration to qualify as an eligible renewable resource under the energy independence act.

Tuesday, January 27 at 1:30pm: House Environment Committee; Public Hearing on HB 1314; Implementing a carbon pollution market program to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. 1:30pm.

Thursday, January 29: The Senate Energy, Environment & Telecommunications Committee will discuss draft bill S-1096: providing incentives for carbon reduction investment.
