DOE & PNNL Offer Technical Assistance for Small Cleantech Businesses

Beginning September 23, small cleantech businesses can request assistance worth up to $300,000 from U.S. Department of Energy national laboratories as part of the Small Business Vouchers Pilot.

DOE’s Office of Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy is granting up to $20 million worth of vouchers to eligible small businesses nationwide, in nine technical topic areas. These vouchers allow businesses to access world-class researchers, facilities, and expertise at national laboratories across the country.

Small businesses can request assistance at www.SBV.org beginning September 23, 2015, and ending October 23, 2015, at 5:00 pm ET. Before September 23, businesses also can sign up on www.SBV.org to receive updates.

Small businesses will have up to two additional opportunities to request assistance in 2016 depending on funding availability. For background on the SBV Pilot, see the fact sheet on www.SBV.org and EERE’s website.

Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Washington State is a participating lab. Contact Gary Spanner at gary.spanner@pnnl.gov or 509-372-4296.
