Fort Collins Seeks EV Charging Expertise

The City of Fort Collins, Colorado, and its municipal utility are seeking to understand and quantify the actual electric vehicle charging patterns in the city. The objective is to quantify the scheduling, location, and electric loads of electric vehicles currently in operation on the Fort Collins distribution system.

The City is seeking proposals for technologies that can be deployed on the grid for data acquisition from vehicles, installed meters, or analytics of meter data. The City will select a group of finalists to present at the 21st Century Energy Transition Symposium on September 28 and 29 in Fort Collins.

The winner of the competition will have the opportunity to test or demonstrate their technology on the City of Fort Collins Utility grid.
