CleanTech Alliance Announces Annual Meeting Keynote Presenters

Michael Eckhardt of the Chasm Institute and Glen Hiemstra of Futurist.com to talk innovation adoption and “The Next 10” in cleantech.

 

CleanTech Alliance announced that Michael Eckhardt of Chasm Institute and Glen Hiemstra of Futurist.com will give keynote addresses at its Annual Meeting and 10th Anniversary Celebration on November 8 in Seattle.

 

Eckhardt, who is managing director and senior workshop leader at Chasm Institute, will focus on innovation and crossing the cleantech adoption chasm. In his role at Chasm, he provides practical working sessions and predictive tools to help technology companies achieve growth in their most challenging markets.

Hiemstra, a long-time industry visionary and founder of Futurist.com, will provide insight into what lies ahead in the next ten years of cleantech. An internationally respected expert on future trends, long-range planning and creating the preferred future, Hiemstra has advised professional, business, and governmental organizations for two decades.

 

Held November 8 at the Seattle Sheraton, the 2017 CleanTech Alliance Annual Meeting is a half-day affair that also celebrates the CleanTech Alliance’s 10th Anniversary. The event will convene more than 300 of the industry’s most prominent influencers from across the Northwest.

“Tying the Alliance’s 10th Anniversary into the Annual Meeting is an opportunity to recognize accomplishments made so far, and to look ahead to what’s on the horizon for the regional cleantech economy,” said J. Jennifer MacIntyre, Canada’s Ambassador for Climate Change, will headline the event. In addition, there will be four town hall sessions about the future of cleantech and its impact on energy, cities, transportation and water. Winners of the CleanTech Achievement Award, sponsored by Puget Sound Energy, will also be announced at the meeting, along with winners of the new new CleanTech Vision Award. Both categories will have an individual and organization winner.
