CLEAN ENERGY FUND: Prospectus now available for new grants to nonprofit lenders

The Washington State Energy Office at the Department of Commerce will be accepting grant applications from nonprofit lenders in Washington to establish or expand revolving loan programs that promote widespread use of proven energy efficiency and renewable energy.

These grants from the state Clean Energy Fund are intended to provide funding for projects that have been inhibited by lack of access to capital, including transportation electrification technologies.

Commerce is requesting qualifications from eligible nonprofit lenders who have experience in providing credit for energy efficiency and/or renewable power.  The department will select one or more lenders that meet the selection criteria to manage the program(s).

The prospectus is posted with more information on the Clean Energy Fund website. The complete Notice of Funding Opportunity will be posted and emailed out on Thursday, June 28, 2018. Visit the Clean Energy Fund website to learn more.
