Seattle City Council
Today we saw some significant changes in the Seattle City Council results as many of the business backed candidates lost ground. Most notably in District 3 Kshama Sawant closed the gap between her and Egan Orion to 739 votes, gaining 6 percentage points over where she was yesterday. Orion now only leads by two percentage points. Also notable in District 7, Andrew Lewis took the lead over Jim Pugel. Recounts take place if the candidates are separated by 0.5% or by less than 2000 votes.
