Dr. Daniel Schwartz was first interested in electrochemical materials and interfaces were first stoked in the mid-1980s when he worked at Cybernex Corp, a Silicon Valley start-up that is now part of Western Digital. Today, his research ranges from fundamental research on electrochemical materials and advanced battery diagnostics to the practical challenges of building a clean energy innovation ecosystem that accelerates ideas to market.
