1Energy Systems Named a Top 10 Winner by the Global Cleantech Cluster Association

For a fifth year in a row the Top 10 cleantech cluster companies were honored at the Global Cleantech Cluster Association (GCCA) Later Stage Awards Gala. The GCCA's Global Top 10 Winners represent the best of the Association's 50 member clusters and over 10,000 member companies. This year's Fifth GCCA Awards were organized by the Green Trade Project Office (GTPO) and presented on November 10, 2015, in Taipei, Taiwan, in conjunction with the Green Summit 2015.

"International cleantech cluster collaboration and business development is critical for regions on their path towards a low carbon economy and society," said Chun-hsu Lin, Managing Director of the Green Trade Project Office (GTPO), the local GCCA cluster partner in Taipei.  "The 2015 winners are both successful technically, strategically and regionally. It is an honor to highlight them at the Award Gala in Taipei and we wish them continued success."

In total, more than 150 companies were nominated by GCCA member clusters for the 2015 Later Stage Awards. That number was later narrowed to the Global Top 30 Finalists and then to the Top 10 Winners. The Global Top 30 were selected using the KeyStone Compact™, a business model stress-testing and risk rating tool developed by GCCA co-founder Dr. Peter Adriaens, Professor of Entrepreneurship and Strategy at the Ross School of Business and CEO of the KeyStone Compact Group Ltd in Michigan and London.

"We are particularly proud to announce BlueinGreen with President John Kucharik from Fayetteville in Arkansas as the GCCA Grand Prize Winner 2015," said Christian Haeuselmann, Chairman of the GCCA and Cluster Manager for swisscleantech. "The GCCA Grand Prize reflects BlueinGreen's unique and scalable water quality innovations and services, and its success and market position as a leading company in the global cleantech industry."
