At the last meeting of our Government Affairs Committee, we had a briefing by representatives from Climate Solutions, Tacoma Power, and Impact BioEnergy in support of proposed Low Carbon Fuel Standard legislation. (You can find the presentation made by Kelly Hall of Climate Solutions here.)
This legislation was discussed in the Washington 2019 Legislative session and is likely to be considered again in 2020.
The Government Affairs Committee will consider making an endorsement recommendation to the Board of Directors. (Our endorsement process requires approval by the Board.)
